The Cambridge University Press Africa Branch has as its focus education publishing for schools in sub-Saharan Africa. We publish school textbooks, language courses, and primary readers for nine African countries in 32 different languages. We also publish a range of supplementary resource material for teachers and pupils, as well as distance learning material for IGCSE and HIGCSE examinations offered by Cambridge International Examinations. We have a modest academic publishing programme, which focuses on topics pertinent to the region, and includes the Cambridge Africa Collection, the Cambridge Low Price Editions, the AIMS Library Series and stand alone titles such as Whales and Dolphins of the Southern African Subregion, The Mammals of the Southern African Subregion and HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
