Damas Educational Services Ltd was established in 1988, and is a wholly Ghanaian owned company. Damas distributes all kinds of books and journals to the libraries of the country's universities, polytechnics, and research institutions.
Damas is well known throughout the country for distributing Cambridge University Press Low Price Edition publications. Beneficiaries of this special distribution effort include the bookshops of the universities in the country, the polytechnics, and second cycle schools.
In collaboration with Cambridge University Press, Damas Educational Services Ltd has brought onto the Ghanaian book market, 60 titles for children and the adult functional literacy drive. These are made up of ten different books published in six Ghanaian languages.
