In Zimbabwe, Cambridge University Press is represented by Prestige Books in Harare . Prestige Books was established in 2000 and is owned and managed by Gerald McCullough, who has many years of bookselling experience and is a well-known figure in the publishing and bookselling industry in Zimbabwe.

Prestige Books employs five staff members and carry a wide range of Cambridge University Press titles. Amongst these are the books for children in Ndebele and Shona published by Cambridge as part of the Cambridge African Languages Library series. These colourful and beautifully illustrated books for young children aim to promote literacy by allowing children to read in their mother tongue. They introduce children to the world of books and reading through accessible, lively stories which represent Africa 's rich diversity of cultures.
