This Teacher Support Web site is designed to provide extra resources to teachers who use Connect, a fun, four-level, multi-skills American English course for young adolescents.

Word Lists & Verb Lists provide a quick reference to the vocabulary introduced in the Connect Student’s Book. To learn more, or to download a list, click on the Word Lists & Verb Lists button at left.

The Connect unit-by-unit Grammar Activities provide students with additional grammar practice. The activities are similar in style to those in the Student’s Books and Workbooks. There are grammar activities for each lesson that has a Language Focus section.

The Connect unit-by-unit Extra Readings provide students with additional reading and writing practice. The Extra Readings are similar in style to the Connections in the Student’s Books, but have three additional features—reading strategies, vocabulary practice, and critical-thinking questions.

Unit-by-unit Evaluation Tests are designed to assess Connect students’ progress in vocabulary, grammar (Language Focus), reading, and writing. To learn more, or to download a test, click on the Evaluation Tests button at left.

Oral Quizzes consist of tasks and sample answers that teachers can use to evaluate their students’ speaking ability.
