Cambridge and Nottingham Spoken Business English Corpus (CANBEC)

CANBEC is a collection of spoken business English recorded in companies of all sizes, from big multinational companies to small partnerships.  Formal and informal meetings, presentations, conversations on the phone, over lunch etc were recorded, typed into the computer for analysis by authors and editors.  This helps us to find out how real people speak and use English today in a work environment, how business language really works, how to teach it better and how to make better language learning materials for business English
