Cambridge RSS resource feeds

RSS logoSubscribe to our RSS feeds and keep up to date with new resources.

Our RSS resource feeds will let you know when we've added new content to the Cambridge ELT website. You can receive the latest podcasts, activities and worksheets as soon as we upload them – just look out for the orange RSS logo on our pages.

How do I use an RSS feed?

In order to receive the feed, you need to subscribe to it. You can do this by using a piece of software called a news reader. There are several different news readers available; some can be used online and some can be downloaded to your computer. News readers monitor all the RSS feeds that you have subscribed to, and present the list of new content to you when you log in. This means you can see everything new from many different websites all in one place, including lots of new Cambridge resources.

Some links to online news readers

The three news readers linked below are all free to use online. Just choose one and create an account to get started.

The way to subscribe to RSS feeds depends on the browser you are using to access the internet.

Internet Explorer users: Click on the orange logo, or the 'Subscribe to RSS feed' link provided on the page you would like to subscribe to. A new window will pop up, full of text. Copy the web address from the address bar of this new window into your news reader.

Firefox users: Click on the orange logo or the link. It will recognise that this is a feed and present you with a list of RSS Readers to choose from. You can then choose a news reader and follow their on-screen instructions.

Opera users: Click on the orange logo, or the 'Subscribe to RSS feed' link, and you will be presented with a dialog box that says 'Would you like to subscribe to [the name of the RSS feed you have chosen]? The newsfeed will be added to the Feeds menu and automatically checked for updates'. You can then click 'yes' or 'no' based on your decision to subscribe.

Safari users: Click on the orange logo or the 'Subscribe to RSS feed' link. Your browser will act as a reader and allow you to view the new resources, and listen to podcasts or read PDF files, in your browser.
