James Mullaney: The Cambridge Double Star Atlas With
illustrations by Wil Tirion, this magnificent atlas contains the most
attractive and interesting double and multiple stars for viewing with
binoculars and telescopes. It is the first modern star atlas devoted to
double and multiple stars and a must-have for
stargazers who want to explore these fascinating objects.
Ian Ridpath: The Monthly Sky Guide, 8th edition With illustrations by Wil Tirion, this classic beginner’s guide to the night sky has been updated with planet
positions and forthcoming eclipses up to the end of the year 2014, a guide to
observing the Moon, comprehensive Moon maps with labelled features, and
information on observing the four brightest planets: Venus, Mars, Jupiter and
Saturn. Previous editions have been translated into Danish, Greek, Spanish and French.
Stephen James O'Meara's Deep-Sky Companions. This series allows observers to compare the physical properties and visual descriptions
of the objects covered with complete confidence. No other
